POSITION:     Assistant Branch Manager

REPORTS TO:  Branch Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The Assistant Branch Manager assists the Branch Manager with the supervision and management of any Wonderful World store, thereby being capable and ready to fill the role of a Manager in emergencies, holidays and also in the absence of a Manager at anytime.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Demonstrates company values and guiding principles with both customers and Sales Associates.
  • Responsible for meeting personal store goals and key performance indications.
  • Ensures Wonderful World is the top priority at all times, consistently setting an enthusiastic example in closing the sale.
  • Adheres to customer satisfaction and procedures.
  • Projects a professional, fashionable image and appearance at all times.
  • Knowledge of all products and fit of bras, communicates this information to customers and
  • Customer Service Representatives effectively.
  • Communicates to individual Customer Service Representatives their targets and promotions.
  • Provides regular performance feedback to Associates.
  • Coaches, trains and develops Associates to meet and exceed company’s standards.
  • Capable of performing on the sales floor, making and closing sales. Builds clientele through good customer service. Ensures sales targets are met.

 

 

 

 

 

CASH/INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

  • Processes all register point of sale transactions accurately and in accordance with company policies.
  • Performs all financial activities efficiently and in accordance with Company’s guidelines including cash handling, merchandise handling and reporting price changes.
  • Assists the Branch Manager in the preparation and execution of physical inventories, ensuring all guiding principles are followed accurately.
  • Monitor cash registers, making sure drawers are closed at all times and follow up as needed, reporting any suspicious activities to Operations and Chief Executive Officer.
  • Ensures behind the desk is organized and efficiently operating at all times, shopping bags and tissues are properly stocked from Warehouse.
  • Ensures timely entry of receiving documents.

 

GENERAL STORE OPERATIONS

 

  • Maintains safety requirements to ensure a safe working and shopping environment.
  • Maintains supplies at a consistent level.
  • Manages controllable expenses within Company’s Guidelines. (i.e. Payroll, overtime etc)
  • Flexible – Available in the event of scheduling conflicts of store, mall, Associate and customer emergencies.
  • Report maintenance issues to the Store Manager.
  • Ensures retrieval /receipt, email, store mail and voice mail. Follows up accordingly.
  • Ensure Customer Service Representatives are all clocked into time clock and time book is accurate.
  • Perform housekeeping activities and ensures the Stockroom and bathroom are maintained and clean.
  • Reviews the stores handbook, taking necessary action to comply with the Company’s policies and guidelines.
  • Ensures all incoming and outgoing merchandise are processed. Uses Visual Merchandising standards to place shipments.
  • Ensures stock is processed as necessary to ensure a full presentation of goods on the floor at all times.
  • Maintains regular and timely communication with the Store Manager. Prepares weekly and monthly communication reports for recap with the store manager.
  • Performs all other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Store manager, Roaming Support Manager and Operations.

 

 

 

LOSS PREVENTION

 

  • Protects the store’s funds, property and follow fellow associate’s property by confirming to and enforcing all loss prevention guiding principles, policies and controls.
  • Assists in training Customer Service Representatives and other Employees on loss prevention guiding principles.
  • Communicates all loss prevention related concerns or incidents to the Store Manager, Roaming Support Manager and Operations.
  • Ensure guiding principles for associate transactions are followed.
  • Controls and processes all damaged merchandise as requested by the Store Manager.
  • Practices effective pre-employment screening according to company guidelines.

VISUAL PRESENTATION/STORE MAINTENANCE

  • Maintains a well-organized, clean and neat store appearance through appropriate housekeeping activities, including store room, lunch room and bathroom maintenance and organization.
  • Conducts and updates floor displays in accordance with the visual standards.
  • Participates in a minimum of one merchandising walk through per week with the Store Manager.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the visual impact of the entire store.
  • Ensures merchandise is properly placed and replenished.
  • Processes stock as necessary to ensure a full presentation of goods are on the floor at all times.

HUMAN RESOURCES/ MANAGEMENT TRAINING:

  • Under the direction of the Store Manager, records, trains, develops, motivates, supervises and counsels store associates.
  • Review associates time sheets/ records and other payroll documentation to verify competencies and accuracy of hours worked and payroll used. Ensures payroll is entered in a timely and correct manner.
  • Possesses effective leadership skills and portrays a positive team attitude.
  • Prepares and participates in store meetings.
  • Communicates any Employee concerns/ issues to the Branch Manager as needed.
  • Consistently reinforces training through role play.
  • Encourages and coaches the store associates in developing their retail skills.
  • Ensures compliance with the store handbook guidelines, policies and procedures.

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Possesses excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
  2. Possesses excellent customer service skills with a proven track record in all areas of sales.
  3. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Proficient in recruiting and retaining quality sales associates.
  5. Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
  6. Understands how to operate registers and pos devices.
  7. Is capable of lifting and carrying up to 30lbs, climbing, reaching and/or pushing, pulling as required to meet responsibilities.
  8. Available to work a flexible work schedule as required, including extended hours at Christmas, Carnival, Weekends, Holidays and overtime.
  9. Can meet requirements for regular on the job attendance to ensure appropriate management coverage. The Assistant Branch Manager must be present and punctual for all assigned schedules.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Support Technician will be responsible for maintaining and liaising with relevant suppliers to ensure optimum performance of all IT operating systems
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
• Conducts bi-annual service of all systems company wide.
• Hardware Inventory Management. ( To update quarterly or as needed and submit to Operations Manager)
• Ensures that all operating systems are up to date and compatible.
• Monitors all UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) systems; conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment

The Cashier will be responsible for processing customer merchandise through the checkout counter in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner.

  • Receives payment by cash, linx/credit cards and gift vouchers
  • Issues receipts, credit notes or change due to customers
  • Recount float in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.

  • Process merchandise returns and exchanges with Manager’s or Assistant Manager’s approval

  • Print all worksheets related to Intimate Secrets Branches (Prepared for Accounting Assistant)
  • Create Month End Reports on last day’s production to be submitted to Warehouse Manager
  • Log all errors/queries from Branches as its relates to posting
